Nevermore Tattoo resident artist Kevin Brodie specialises in black and grey and has a passion for realism. Brodie enjoys all styles of tattooing. He does however favour horror, comic, graphic novel and popular culture themed pieces.
Kevin Brodie considers himself as a late comer into the tattoo industry. Whilst enjoying drawing for leisure at university and learning to develop his artistic skills with photography, his career was directed down a different path. Brodie continued drawing in his spare time honing his skill set enabling him to produce artwork for retail. It was one of these drawings that led to him being offered a tattoo apprenticeship. In 2012 Brodie stated his tattoo journey.
After serving his apprenticeship and early tattoo career in Coventry & Birmingham. In 2014 Brodie moved to Daventry, Northamptonshire joining the Nevermore Family.
Portraiture along with horror concepts and macabre themed tattoos are areas that Brodie’s creativity gravitates to. These are therefore his favourite pieces to plan, put together and tattoo.
Brodie’s skills expand to digital media and photography editing where he combines his artistry to create truly unique design concepts. Brodie enjoys a challenge on both small and large scales, this can be demonstrated in one hit pieces as well as his ongoing projects.
