Nevermore Tattoo resident artist and studio owner Dan Barren specialising in colour neotraditional and gnarly blackwork.
Dan started his tattoo journey in 2006. After serving his apprenticeship he fell in love with tattooing in all its various forms. From varying cultures, the history of tattooing, the biology involved, the ingenuity and the process of creating individual pieces. Therefore, he is well developed and experienced allowing him to cater to all styles for his established client base. However his love lies within the style of dark neo-traditional and occult black work. His interests include secret societies, ancient mythology, symbology and the occult. These themes are reflected heavily in his available designs and influence his passion projects which grant him freedom of creativity.
Dan enjoys working the convention scene and can be found on the odd guest spot or two. Being able to travel facilitates Dan’s ambition to express himself freely. This enables him to concentrate on available designs and passion projects which have a dark archaic feel. You are always guaranteed to see a skull and dagger or two! Although these subject matters are Dan’s passion, he is just as happy tattooing delicate florals, botanicals and science fiction.
As studio owner it is Dan’s ambition to facilitate the growth of the team, the artists and to provide excellent customer satisfaction and reputation.
Dan is looking to take on more large-scale black work and neo-traditional pieces. If this is something that tickles your fancy, go ahead, and drop him an email.
